Impacts of COVID-19 on the Geoscience Enterprise:
How Permanent Will Academic Program and Workforce Changes Be?
There are no foreseeable risks for participating in this study, but some potential minimal risk includes the time spent completing the survey and the risk of breach of confidentiality.
All the data collected from this study will be housed in a secure database and your identity and responses will be separately stored, only joined via an offline stored token. The only people that will have access to the data will be the project’s research team who are all employees of AGI. We will keep your identity and the information you supply private. We will not share your personal information with anyone outside the project team. The only instance—and such occasions are rare—when we would release information about you to anyone without your permission would be if we were required to do so by law.
Your participation in the survey is completely voluntary and will not affect your future engagement with activities or programs of the American Geosciences Institute. You can decide to not participate or to discontinue your participation at any time without penalty.
